Frédéric Hugues Chaudière was born in Dieulefit, France in 1963. He has been making violins in Montpellier since 1986.
Frédéric Chaudière is also an avid sculptor and writer. His articles are published regularly by English magazine The Strad, as well as in Radio France concert programs.
His first novel, entitled Tribulations of a Stradivarius in America, was first published by Actes Sud in 2005.
Though Frédéric Chaudière possesses many talents, his world revolves around a main theme : music.
Played throughout the world by some of today’s greatest musicians, his instruments gravitate like electrons around his passion.
His sculpture, Indigènes, takes an inquisitive look at movement in the musical universe.
The veil over classical musical is lifted when he takes to the pen, revealing a rich landscape of tears and blood.
