Frédéric Hugues Chaudière, whose family has been filled with sculptors and painters for several generations, first became interested in sculpting after realizing that his passion for music probably stemmed from a need to break away from family tradition.
Exhibited in New-York, Salzburg, Paris, and elsewhere, his Indigènes (natives) are part of a group of sandstone and old oak sculptures observing a rotating violin.
Every night, a musician takes the instrument and enchants the sculptures with its divine music.
